Webmaster (WM) - PerkinElmer

Job & responsibilities:

  • Webmaster is responsible to develop, deploy and maintaining PerkinElmer intranet/extranet/portal
  • Plans for regular Web Develpment and updates of web pages to maintain timeliness of data
  • Work closely with end user to provide improvements to current Web system
  • Revies, spell-check error checks all web content prior to and after release, to maintain the quality of the web pages
  • Performs all day-to-day maintenance of web pages, assuring pages and changes are referenced in the major search engines and responding to email about the pages
  • Provides regular status reports to Application Leader and Asia Web Development Team
Requirements:
  • Must be proficient with Visual Studio.NET tools (ASP.NET, VB.NET/C++) 2003/2005
  • Good database knowledge in SQL Server Database design and SQL Query syntax
  • Experience with HTML 3.2/4.0 at tag level, no WYSIWYG is required
  • DHTML, COM and client-side Java Script programming experience is also required
  • Microsoft server-side VBScript and ASP development experience is preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with installing, configuring, maintaing, tuning, analyzing and optimizing website in the NT environment
  • Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or similar qualification
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years programming experience in Web Application development preferably in Intranet/Extranet
