LOGISTIC MANAGER (LM)

The expanding manufacturing in Batam PT. UWATEC BATAM specializes in diving equipment, well known under the brands SCUBAPRO and UWATEC is recruiting the following position:
LOGISTIC MANAGER (LM)
This role reports directly to the Batam Factory Manager, and is responsible for the warehousing and distribution operations for the Batam facility. This includes budget/expense management, Management of Warehouse operations (Receiving, Picking, Shipping, Import/Export, Cycle counts /Inventory accuracy, Safety, Environmental and Housekeeping) that supports the timely and accurate order fulfillment to the six regional warehouses around the world. The incumbent needs to interact effectively with 3rd party transportation (ocean, air and land), Freight forwarder and customs brokers, Customer service, Mfg, Central planning, and other departments to measure the efficiency and effectiveness in servicing our internal customers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• BS/BA degree
• 5-7 years warehouse, transportation, import/export experience, supporting multi-national
• Having good knowledge in shipping of Hazardous and Dangerous goods
• English and Bahasa Indonesia fluency
• Computer literate , Excel, micro-soft office, ERP systems
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
• Familiarity or experience related to six-sigma or lean preferred.
