PROJECT MANAGER-MATERIAL

Description:
Sandvik Mining and Construction - Region Asia Pacific is in need of an experienced Project Manager to manage projects relating to Bulk Materials Handling in Indonesia.

The position shall report to the Product Line Manager, Materials Handling and Freuent travel to project sites within Indonesia is expected.

Key performance areas:

  • Strong customer focused-must have in-depth understanding of the customer's business and processes as well as sound knowledge of local steel fabricator's.
  • Able to provide and prepare detailed project cost estimates from engineering drawings
  • Thorough understanding of local construction or erection companies capabilities and costs
  • Coordinate the development and monitor adherence of the projects to plans and budgets
  • Able to manage multiple discipline projects associated with bulk materials handling
  • Close cooperation with sales and product managers in the country and the region is essential
Your Profiles:
  • Posses a Degree in Engineering
  • At least 10 years experience in project management in the mining or related industry and preferable with 3 years in Indonesia
  • Strong planning analytical, organization and time management skill are critical factors to the success of this job
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to understand and speak bahasa Indonesia
